Well those of you who are Down Under know that over the last week we have had some very, very hot weather. Where I live has been no exception, today and yesterday were the first days that we had under 42 degrees C (that's 109F for you northern folk). We have been lucky in that we have not been affected by the fires but we live in a rural area and many of the outlying properties and farms have had pasture destroyed and livestock lost.
All this hot weather has kept me inside in the air conditioning and after I cleaned out my study, cleaned the rest of the house, made a huge amount of salads, hounded the children to clean their rooms including their closets and under their bed (I'm sure they forget we were kids once and know all their tricks) there was not much else to do except........get working on some resources, so for your viewing pleasure ladies and gents I give you.....
Snowball Fight! A Place Value Bingo game
and Length Measurement Task cards for inches, feet and yards
Just click on either pic to go to my TpT store. Both of these resources are 20% for one week but the first person to leave a comment will get to choose one to have for their very own for FREE!
Yay! This looks fun!

Much cooler today in the high 30's and less wind so hopefully that will help with the fires. Thanks for your comment Alison
DeleteThank you for your super speed response, Tania! I'm ready for some snowball fight in Switzerland so Snowball Fight! A Place Value Bingo game will be my choice! Thank you SO much! P.S. I hope it's not getting too warm there in Australia!
ReplyDeleteHi Tania,
ReplyDeleteI arrived back in Australia about a week ago and I can't believe this heat! I have to drive my car from Adelaide to Canberra next week so fingers crossed for cooler weather then. Hope the fires stay clear of your place! Do you have a dam to go for a dip in?
Welcome home! Hopefully next week will bring cooler weather, drive safe and look forward to hearing more from you on your blog.
